On last nights ’90s week episode of Greatest Hits on ABC, Meghan Trainor joined the Backstreet Boys to perform their smash-hit song I Want It That Way. Wearing matching white blazers, the boys took turns serenading Meghan as she lived out her ultimate fan girl dreams. Everyone looked and sounded fantastic!

It was a dream come true for Trainor, who admitted backstage that she was nervous to perform with a group she idolized growing up. “My first band that I loved was the Backstreet Boys,” she admitted before stepping on stage with them. “My pop star crush was Brian [Littrell]. I was gonna marry him and my mom was gonna marry him. That was our husband. The day he got married, I remember we were like, ‘Nooo!’

Meghan took some time to interview on Music Choice Now and she revealed some interesting little tidbits about her upcoming album Thank You. In regards to her sophomore album, Meghan stated that her signature Doo-Wop sound will not be present.. unless you’re listening to the Deluxe version that is! The three bonus tracks, Goosebumps, Mom (featuring her Mother Kelli Trainor!) and Dance Like Your Daddy will feature the traditional Meghan Trainor sound we all know and love, followed by the title song Thank You. She also talks about how she had to mature since her debut in 2014 and how she felt prior to the release of NO. Overall the interviews were great – be sure to check them out below!
