We are devastated to report that Meghan Trainor has been forced to cancel all of her upcoming appearances and performances due to a doctor’s order to go back on vocal rest for two weeks. Meghan was set to perform in iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball Tour through December as well as Billboard’s Women in Music event where she was also going to receive the Chart Topper award. Meghan took to Instagram to post the following message:
To all the fans:
I posted last week that I wasn’t feeling great, but was powering through the best that I could. Unfortunately, I am not feeling any better and after leaving the doctor today, I have been put on a strict vocal rest for the next two weeks. This absolutely kills me because I was so excited to see all of you on the road. I’m going to go home and rest so I can get back to see you all as soon as i can. I love you so much and am so appreciative of your love and support that you constantly show me. You mean everything to me. Can’t wait to see you in 2017!
We would like to take this time to wish Meghan a safe and speedy recovery. As devastated as your fans are over the news, I speak for everyone when I say we all would rather you take this time to heal. You will be stronger because of this, and we will all be here waiting to see you slay the stage yet again. To show your support for Meghan Trainor please retweet the hashtag #WeLoveYouMeghan and let’s get it trending on Twitter. She will definitely need all of our love and support during this tough time.
